The Nerazzurri captain told Sportmediaset: "We're a group of young lads with a lot of desire"

MILAN - Andrea Ranocchia spoke to Sportmediaset on his return from international duty. He started by focusing on the upcoming league clash with Sassuolo: "I'm excited - I really want to show what I can do. I want to put this club back where it belongs."

Ranocchia also spoke about the will to win, something that is part of Walter Mazzarri's DNA: "He's a great manager who wants to succeed, just like the national team head coach does. The boss is really fired up this season. We've got a group of new players who want to embark on a journey which will lead to the team winning an important trophy."

Finally, he also spoke about the Nerazzurri's upcoming opponents: "They're a good side and we must keep our guard up."
