MILAN - Numbers can tell you a lot, perhaps even the future. So they can help us understand Inter’s future, the Nerazzurri youth academy, the work being carried out by Roberto Samaden and his staff, and indeed just how many Inter youth players have been involved with their national teams. To be precise, 17 players from the Inter youth academy were called up for international duty, playing a total of 1,247 minutes and scoring four goals.
These are the names of all of the youngsters who are either with Inter currently or out on loan: Francesco Bardi, Matteo Bianchetti, Samuele Longo, Lorenzo Crisetig, Marco Benassi, Cristiano Biraghi (Italy U21), George Puscas (Romania U21), Luca Garritano (Italy U20), Giacomo Sciacca, Federico Bonazzoli, Andrea Palazzi (Italy U19), Giorgio Piacentini, Enrico De Micheli, Federico Dimarco (Italy U18), Alessandro Mattioli, Mel Taufer (Italy U17), Federico Valietti, Andrea Pinamonti (Italy U16).
