APPIANO GENTILE – Training continues for the Nerazzurri at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti ahead of their UEFA Europa League first leg play-off match against Icelandic opponents Stjarnan on Wednesday 20 August. The kick-off is set for 23:00 CET (21:00 local time) at the Laugardalsvöllur, Iceland’s national stadium in Reykjavik.
Coach Walter Mazzarri oversaw today’s double session. In the morning the team warmed up, then performed exercises on change of direction and a technical and tactical programme. The afternoon workout brought a series of ball possession exercises and an 11-v-11 training game.
