WASHINGTON, DC – After completing their first training session on US soil, Nemanja Vidic, René Krhin and Tommaso Berni stopped to give their initial impressions. And despite the jet-leg, it was clear that the Nerazzurri are already focused on the task at hand.
"It's amazing to be here in the States," Vidic began. "I can't wait for the International Champions Cup to start so that we can tackle some other big European clubs. Mazzarri is a great manager who gets you working hard. It's a pleasure to have him as coach. I've settled in at Inter very quickly."
Krhin was also in buoyant mood: "We're all really united and ready to fight all the way this season. It's fantastic to see so many Nerazzurri fans here in Washington."
Finally, Berni said a few words: "We're putting in a lot of work but we're seeing the results. It promises to be a really exciting tournament."
