Training base
Inter have chosen to use the facilities of the Catholic University of America (@CatholicUniv) in Washington D.C. as their training base. One of the oldest universities in the United States, it was established as an education centre in 1887 and began offering degree courses in 1904. There's even an Italian element at the university: the campus is located in the Brookland neighbourhood, also known as "Little Rome", so you’ll be sure to see the 'tricolore' flying! Sport is a major part of the American university system and so, in addition to CUA Soccer Field, there are facilities for basketball, volleyball and swimming. And of course baseball, softball and tennis play a part as well. In addition to sport, The Catholic University of America also boasts such famous alumni as Jason Miller, winner of the Pulitzer Prize, Susan Sarandon, famous actress and Oscar nominee, and Brian M. Cashman, general manager of the New York Yankees.
