HERGLA - The children from the school in Hergla, along with those from the outer villages of Swayeh and Laaribet, happily greeted the arrival of the Inter Campus delegation. With help from the staff of coaches and instructors from the El Mustaqbal Association [meaning ‘The Future’], who took part in the coaching course conducted by our own Lorenzo Forneris and Andrea Galbiati, sporting activities are growing and sparking the interest of more and more boys and girls.
At the end of the course the children were thrilled to receive the games and gifts that were distributed to them, thanks to Enrico Uncini of the Tanit Association (our local partner).
In Kairouan, which lies in the blistering hot interior, the first ever Inter Campus visit was held with one hundred children to celebrate the opening of the new centre, in a part of the country where fundamentalism has a strong presence.
And now that fasting has begun we have a special message for our friends there: Ramadhan Mubarak!
