SERIE A, CHIEVO 2-1 INTER

Nerazzurri defeated at the Stadio Bentegodi in the season’s final match. Andreolli opens the scoring before Obinna responds with a brace

VERONA - Chievo and Inter faced each other in the final match of the 2013/14 season, which also happened to be Zanetti’s last in a Nerazzurri shirt: his 858th in competitive games. After Paloschi and Lazarevic had each hit the woodwork, Marco Andreolli fired a shot through a crowded box to put the visitors ahead in the first half. Then after half-time Obinna levelled for Chievo just seconds after coming on. He then grabbed a second in the 90th minute to give the Gialloblù a victory with a final score of 2-1.
