MILAN - FC Internazionale honorary president Massimo Moratti spoke to the press this morning following the shareholders' meeting at the Westin Palace.
The derby: Inter won the reverse fixture, who comes into this one in the better form?
"AC Milan have had a very good run, apart from the last game against Roma, but they're on the up. From the outside, I think Seedorf has done a good job. We've also played well of late so we should see a great derby."
The club are planning for another season with Mazzarri, Thohir said yesterday, there's no doubt about that...
"You need to ask someone else about that but I don't think there's any doubt about it."
How is Inter changing with regards to the club's internationalisation, something you wanted and which Thohir is now leading?
"I think very little has changed from a footballing perspective, we always have the ambition to create a great team. Every year we need to resolve something we thought we'd already done and so buy new players in certain positions and I think we're already starting to do that. It's a normal change in ownership where instead of one person guaranteeing everything, there are now companies and Inter itself doing that. It's nothing more than a normal change in ownership, where there are targets and plans which I hope are realised because they'd be very exciting."
It's Zanetti's last derby, but he risks not having a celebration. What do you make of all that?
"I know how highly regarded he is, I think there's an agreement for his future. We've got time and everything we need to celebrate the role Zanetti has played in Inter's history as a player. The same goes for all those who won the treble, and I think it would be nice to organise a match for all of them in September or October because at the time we weren't able to celebrate enough."
One of these is Milito who made history at Inter by scoring four goals to seal the treble. He might be the only player in history to score decisive goals in three competitions. Do you have something in mind for him?
"Milito is open, obviously we all know him very well. Every Inter fan will be eternally grateful to him, and they love him. Milito is still the guy who scored in all three games and helped us to win everything."
Will Mourinho make the Champions League final?
"We're all with him!"
