MILAN - "The association is called 'Help children' for the 'Young people at work' project: I help young people who have left school by financing study grants which they can then use to sign up for training courses to help them into the working world." This is how Danilo D'Ambrosio began his interview on Radio Montecarlo's famous show.
"Italy in general is not having a great time of it lately and, as I was born and grew up in Naples, I'm trying to do something for my homeland."
The defender has pledged to donate €0.50 for every new follower on his Twitter account @ddambrosio: "Have I set a maximum number of followers? This week I will donate a certain amount to the association, then over time I'll try to start up other charitable schemes."
Finally, he spoke about his arrival at the Nerazzurri: "Inter are a big club, with a huge fanbase, I like it here and there are some top players who are helping me to settle in off the pitch too. Let's keep our fingers crossed for the end of the season."
