AUSILIO: "IT'LL BE HARD FOUGHT TILL THE END"

"We're here planning for next season. Parma have done really well but hopefully we'll be the ones taking the three points home at the final whistle"

PARMA – Sporting director Piero Ausilio spoke to Sky Sport Italia shortly before the Nerazzurri's match at the Stadio Ennio Tardini this afternoon.

Asked about Mazzarri, he replied: "We've said all along that he'll be staying next season through the words of president Thohir and managing director Fassone. We're even thinking of extending the contract beyond that. We've always said he'll be staying irrespective of any other considerations."

On Inter's season: "Anyone who's involved in this game could see that whatever Inter's ambitions might be this was going to be a particular year, with a change of ownership, a new coach coming in with new methods, new players and other players with expiring contracts. We're here planning for next season."

Looking at today's match with Parma: "I expect we'll see a good game today, hard fought right till the end. Parma have done really well this year but hopefully come the final whistle today we'll be the ones taking the three points home."

Do Inter regret letting Cassano leave? "No, we were very happy with him and then this opportunity came up for him to play at Parma and we're pleased he's doing well here."
