EUROLEAGUE FINAL FOUR: BERGOMI AT PRESENTATION FOR INTER FOREVER

Milan will be the capital of European basketball from 16 to 18 May 2014. An action-packed three days, and Inter will be there too

MILAN - Milan will be the capital of European basketball from 16 to 18 May 2014. The city will play host to the Final Four of Euroleague (basketball’s Champions League) at the Assago-Milanofiori Forum.

Former Inter star Giuseppe Bergomi, who will be there as a representative of Inter and Inter Forever, took part in a press conference this morning to introduce the event, which had the Alessi Hall at the Palazzo Marino as its setting.

The Master of Ceremonies were Mayor of Milan, Giuliano Pisapia and the CEO of the Eurolega, Jordi Bertomeu, who both explained how special and exciting the event will be. Many events will take place in Piazza Duomo (such as a ‘3-against-3’ tournament and the presentation of the award to the season’s MVP), while the PalaLido will host a tournament for young basketball players. There will also be various charity events, all linked to the EuroLega’s CSR Project One Team.

Ingredients sure to ignite sporting passion - and Inter will be there to offer their support too.
