MILAN - "We have to play each game as if we mean to win it. We have to try to add the little bit extra that we’ve been missing at home recently. We have set ourselves no limits, but we have to be realistic and say things as they really are." Those were the words of sporting director Piero Ausilio when he spoke to Sky Sport Italia before Inter v Torino.
"Over the last few games we’ve started to get some key players back from injury and we’ve created lot of goal scoring chances, such as in the second half against Cagliari and against Sassuolo. I’m convinced that tonight could be a happy one for us. We’ll build on the strong second-half performance at home to Cagliari, when we were also unlucky.
"This side was created from scratch, with a new coach and new tactics. We also added new players to the squad in January. We have a lot of faith and are convinced that we’re on the right path. Then we’ll see where the results take us. Let’s carry on taking each game as it comes, as that way we can have success as early as this season."
