MILAN - Inter play Torino at the Meazza on the club's 106th birthday. FC Internazionale wanted to use this occasion to remember Il Grande Torino, a team that made history and whose players and success left an indelible mark on the history of Italian football.
The last match played by that wonderful group of players was also at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza against the Nerazzurri. It ended 0-0 on 30 April 1949, just a few days before the tragic events of 4 May.
