PRIMAVERA, INTER 1-1 PESCARA

Both goals inside two second-half minutes, Palazzi replying to Ingretolli's opener. Plenty of attacking intent from the Nerazzurri but little cutting edge

MILAN – Inter Under-19s missed the chance to close the gap with Atalanta and Chievo as they drew 1-1 with Pescara in Week 16 of the Primavera championship this afternoon.

It wasn't exactly a tidy display from Salvatore Cerrone's boys, especially in the first half, but they produced a gutsy second-half performance which ultimately wasn't enough to secure the three points.

The visitors took the lead against the run of play on the hour mark when Ingretolli beat Ivusic with a wonderful curled effort from outside the box. However, barely a minute passed before Palazzi levelled the scores with a deflected shot.
Inter set about finding a winner but were lacking ideas in the final third and fashioned few chances of note in the remaining half an hour.

The draw will no doubt suit Pescara but it's two points thrown away for Inter, who face a far sterner test next week when they visit runaway Group B leaders Atalanta.
