MAZZARRI: "I'LL LEARN A LOT TONIGHT"

"To get a result we must be on top of our game, go one better than them and stay on our toes. It's the same against everyone, Serie A is very evenly balanced"

TURIN - Walter Mazzarri spoke to Sky Sport Italia in the build-up to tonight's match between Juventus and Inter.

The first question put to the Nerazzurri coach was about the stone that struck the team bus as it arrived at the stadium. "I prefer to concentrate on the game, maybe we can discuss it afterwards. Personally these things motivate me even more and I hope that my players, after the fright, can also use it to fire themselves up and produce a top performance."

What will Inter need to do to produce a top performance? "If we want to get a result, we need to be on top of our game, go one better than the opposition and stay on our toes. But you need to do that against everyone, not only the top sides, because Serie A is a very evenly balanced league and you don't always get the result your play deserves. We've prepared for this match very well and we'll give it our best."

Mazzarri was also asked to comment on the transfer window. "It's over at last. Now we have to focus on this hugely important game. On Tuesday, when we'll have everyone available, we'll finally be able to stop talking about it.

"I'm curious to see how the young lads who will play tonight handle themselves against the best team in the league at the moment, and at their own stadium. I'll learn a lot today."
