MILAN – Upon leaving the Nerazzurri headquarters, Inter’s managing director Marco Fassone answered questions from awaiting journalists:
Can you give us your comments on Juventus’ press conference, and in particular their mention of a lack of professionalism on Inter’s part?
"No. I don’t want to comment on their press conference. I can only reiterate the things we already said. We released an official statement, and president Thohir gave a statement as well. I also spoke myself. And for Inter negotiations hadn’t yet come to a close. Yesterday afternoon we told Juventus the deal could not proceed for various reasons. This is Inter’s point of view."
The accusations are quite serious, and make reference to a lack of professionalism.
"I’m sorry but there’s nothing more I’d like to add to these things, which are club issues or relate to the presidents. I prefer not to comment on it any further."
Is there a chance of sitting back down at the negotiating table for Mirko Vucinic?
"I don’t know, and I’d prefer not to comment any further. We already fully discussed these matters in depth yesterday."
Can you confirm that president Thohir will arrive on Sunday?
"I don’t know the president’s plans precisely, but he should arrive in the next few days."
