PRIMAVERA, INTER 1-4 CHIEVO

Visitors produce a strong showing to claim all three points. Nerazzurri lose a man in each half and finish with nine men. Yao grabs late consolation

MILAN - Just one point separated Inter and Chievo (fourth and second) going into this match. The Nerazzurri started off well but their task was soon complicated by Dabo's first-half sending-off for a second bookable offence. Chievo made the most of their man advantage by putting on a superb performance: they scored twice in each period before Yao netted a late consolation goal for Inter. Salvatore Cerrone's side finished the game with nine men as Paramatti also saw red.

Awaiting the match between Atalanta and AC Milan (first and third), the result sees Chievo strengthen their grasp on second place by moving up to 31 points while Inter remain on 27.
