DERBY TIME AGAIN TODAY!

Free admission as always for the U19s' league encounter on Sunday 12 January, 14:30 at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti, Via Sbarbaro 5, Milan

MILAN - "There are two teams in Milan: Inter and Inter’s Primavera team," Giuseppe Prisco famously once said. It goes without saying that "Peppino" was someone for whom the derby meant more than any normal game. He was a true Interista.

The derby is the culmination of a rivalry that affects not only the first team and its fans, but also the Nerazzurri’s youth teams at every level. And Inter’s Youth Academy – renown for its winning record not just in Italy and Europe, but all over the entire world – is gearing up for its second Primavera derby in just three weeks.

The last one was played in Brianteo di Monza on 21 December; the day before the first team’s derby (settled by Palacio’s back-heel). This gruelling Coppa Italia clash, played in freezing temperatures, went to extra time. However, with president Thohir watching, Cerrone’s lads triumphed by a 3-1 score line to deservedly reach the semi-finals.

But the Milan derby is something eternal; it’s played year round, non-stop. And the Nerazzurri Primavera will be back on the pitch today, Sunday 12 January, for their rescheduled Week 8 league match. Yes, it’s another derby!

All Nerazzurri fans will have the chance to follow the game live on the club’s official Twitter profile and comment using the hashtag: #DerbyPrimavera.

And don’t forget that the game will be broadcast live on Inter Channel.

Join us if you can at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti on Sunday 12 January at 14:30. There’s another derby to be won.
