MILAN – The idea took shape while thinking of a way to give a present to all of the Inter Club members. It’s a unique situation in the world of football, with 900 clubs and more than 100,000 members. It has a truly international dimension, and to understand this you need only consider that the Inter Club with the most members is in Indonesia, with 5,321, followed by Roccaspinalveti in Abruzzo, with 1,000.
So we took a map of the world and laid all the clubs out on it, and now you can see them too. It will be easier to get in touch with each other, or find out if there’s an Inter Club near you. Or if you’re travelling and don’t want to miss a game, you can watch it together with others who bleed blue and black like you do.
We have added the 'Interisti' page to our site, and we’re not stopping at simply mapping out all the Inter Clubs. The next step is that of having the location of all those who have signed up to the site, and, once we have obtained consent from individual fans, initiating communications between all Nerazzurri around the world.
We've used a star to symbolise each club: we're going to create a Nerazzurri world but it will also be a special kind of constellation that lights up frequently as new members continue to come along.
