MONZA – Nerazzurri president Erick Thohir spoke to journalists after watching the Primavera team beat AC Milan 3-1 in this afternoon's Coppa Italia quarter-final.
He said: "It was a great victory today and hopefully we can play the same way tomorrow.
"Do I think I think Bonazzoli is a bit special? Yes, as I've said before, he's definitely a good player, and the same goes for Isaac Donkor."
Speaking to reporters during the half-time interval, the president explained: "I'm happy to be here. These are the future stars and it's my commitment to support the youth organisation. I'd like the young players to be in the first team in the future. That's why I'm here but tomorrow will also be a big game. This is just a practice today because tomorrow we're playing AC Milan again!
"Do I think this is a good team? Yes, I think we have some really good players like Ventre, Puscas, Bonazzoli, Dabo, Camara, Donkor."
On yesterday's meetings with the team and club employees: "I think it's good to wish 'Merry Christmas' and 'Happy New Year' and not only to the players and coach Mazzarri - we also did the same thing at the Inter offices with all the staff. There are 75 people working there and I've managed to meet all 75 of them now. I think it was a good meeting with the staff and also with the players.
"Did we discuss transfers? Yes, we did but you can ask Branca and Ausilio about that – there's a division of roles."
