MAZZARRI ON INTERNOS: "FROM PINZOLO TO NAPLES, HOW INTER'S GAME HAS CHANGED"

During the special episode on Inter Channel, the coach looked back over his first six months in charge of the Nerazzurri, from the summer to Napoli

APPIANO GENTILE - Guest on the special episode of InterNOS, Walter Mazzarri analysed his time in charge of the Nerazzurri starting from the beginning: "We worked a lot in Pinzolo, then we went to America which raised some eyebrows, not for me, but other people thought we were still a bit rusty. We had worked a lot and at that time it almost seemed counter-productive to have worked this hard because perhaps the team needed to get a few results straight away to put last season behind them: we all know how that ended.

"Then on the opening day of the league season, actually in the Coppa Italia before that, the team immediately began playing in a certain way, gaining confidence in themselves and performing well.

"Now this is a period in which, partly due to our own fault and partly due to some decisions, we can say we've not been lucky, we've dropped more points than we deserved to. Although, as I've said, in the two matches before Napoli we went backwards in terms of our play, but it's comforting that in Naples we saw Inter's play from three weeks earlier."

InterNOS is on at 21:00 on channel 232.
