MILAN - The winter break is now just around the corner: that's why only three of the academy sides will be in action this weekend. Just one competitive fixture is scheduled, in the shape of Saturday's derby in the Coppa Italia. The Allievi Nazionali Lega Pro will play in a friendly tournament featuring the likes of Varese, Novara and Monza, while the Giovanissimi Nazionali will take on Enotria in a friendly.
Here are the full details of this weekend's fixtures:
Salvatore Cerrone's Primavera (Under-19s) will take on AC Milan in the quarter-finals of the Primavera TIM Cup. The match at the Stadio Brianteo in Monza kicks off at 11:45 on Saturday 21 December.
Gianmario Corti's Allievi Nazionali Serie A and B (Under-17s) will not be in action due to the winter break.
Benoit Cauet's Allievi Nazionali Lega Pro (Under-16s) will compete for the 3rd edition of the Torneo Angelo Seveso on Saturday 21 December at the Centro Sportivo Seveso Calciolandia in Vimodrone near Milan. It all starts at 14:00.
The Giovanissimi Nazionali (Under-15s) and Stefano Bellinzaghi will meet Enotria in a friendly at 14:30 on Saturday.
Finally Marco Mandelli's Giovanissimi Regionali (Under-14s) will not be in action due to the winter break.
