MARCO ANDREOLLI AT JUNIOR TIM CUP

"Pulling on an Inter shirt is something that makes me feel very proud"

MILAN - Marco Andreolli spoke to journalists at the 'Junior Tim Cup' today. This is what the Nerazzurri defender had to say:

"If I'd know at the age of ten that I'd one day play at the San Siro I'm sure I'd have been thrilled, although a ten-year-old child doesn't really understand where he is at that time. Children are full of enthusiasm at that age, they just want to have fun and concentrate on playing. Other things are of relative importance when you're ten.

"Coming back to Inter at the age of 27 is very different. When you pull on an Inter shirt all sorts of thoughts come into your head. It's definitely something that makes me feel very proud.  All the various experiences I've been through up until now have prepared me for this.

"As for the team, we're not worried. We haven't been able to get the results we wanted in the last few weeks but we're not worried. We know we have to roll our sleeves up and get back to work as we've done before, keep listening to the coach and following all his instructions.

"The derby? Before then we have to go to Napoli. The most important thing is that we prepare as well as we can this week for a tough away game, but we know that we're capable of coming home with all three points, even from Naples."
