MILAN - Ivan Cordoba took part in the closing ceremony of "Sport Management: skills to create value in sport" on Friday 6 December. The event was run by the Sport Business Academy, a centre of sporting and managerial culture for managers and officials in sport, supported since 2010 by RCS Sport and the SDA Bocconi School of Management.
For Cordoba it marked a return to the prestigious Milanese institution, although on this occasion he was on the other side of the floor: in 2011 Ivan was an SBA alumnus, whereas he appeared as the guest of honour on Friday.
"Attending the Sport Business Academy had a significant impact on my career development, both on and off the field, opening up new horizons and enabling me to acquire new managerial skills. I believe that in modern day sport, which is so complex and evolving rapidly all the time, managers need to be up to the task." The Colombian encouraged participants to never stop learning in their profession and to make the difference in their careers by paying attention to detail.
