MILAN – On Monday 2 December the "Festa dello Sport 2013" took place at the Clerici Auditorium of the ACLI’s local administration headquarters at Via della Signora 3, Milan. This organisation, which has been operating in Milan and its surrounding region for many years, promotes amateur sport by organising 5-man, 7-man and 11-man football tournaments, as well as those for basketball and volleyball.
Juan Jesus was there representing the Nerazzurri, and he presented the awards to the winning teams and top-scorers from last year’s football competitions. Also during the event Mario Corso, a champion from the "Grande Inter" side of the 1960s, was awarded the "Lauro d'Oro" [golden laurel].
Beyond presenting awards to the many athletes and coaches at the event, Juan Jesus also made a point of posing for photos and signing autographs for the fans. Then later he was presented with a cheque which went to support Ivan Ramiro Cordoba’s charity foundation, Colombia Te Quiere Ver.
