MILAN – The Nerazzurri youth academy made a clean sweep this weekend as all six teams secured three points in their league fixtures.
Salvatore Cerrone's Primavera (U19) came from behind to see off Hellas Verona 2-1 at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti in their Week 9 fixture on Saturday afternoon, thanks to goals by Longo and Bonazzaoli.
The Allievi Nazionali Serie A and B (U17), under the stewardship of Gianmario Corti, sealed an impressive away win at Atalanta in Week 11: 3-2 the final score with Appiah netting a brace and Delgado adding the third.
Benoit Cauet's Allievi Nazionali Lega Pro (U16) cruised to a 4-0 home success over Lumezzane in their Week 11 game, Piscopo, Opoku (penalty) and Antonini (2) on the score sheet.
The Giovanissimi Nazionali (U15) also beat their Lumezzane counterparts in Week 11, 3-2 away: Traorè, Confalonieri and Pinamonti were on target for Stefano Bellinzaghi's side.
Marco Mandelli's Giovanissimi Regionali (U14) completed a hat-trick of Nerazzurri victories over Lumezzane with a 3-0 home triumph thanks to Merola's double and a strike from Patacchini.
Finally, the Giovanissimi Regionali B (U13) coached by Paolo Migliavacca whitewashed FeralpiSalò away, putting seven unanswered goals past the hosts. Opoku and Renda grabbed two apiece while Sorrentino, Burgio and Valente completed the rout.
