RAINEWS24, NOVELLA CALLIGARIS INTERVIEWS MASSIMO MORATTI

"Love story between Inter and my family began 50 years ago, when my mother..." honorary president had a chat with the famous swimmer-turned-journalist

ROME - (ANSA) The love story between Inter and the Moratti family "began 50 years ago with my father, perhaps even before that with my mother, who took my father to Rome for Lazio v Inter and he became a fan." This is what Massimo Moratti had to say in an interview with Novella Calligaris for Rainews24, which will be aired on Saturday 23 November at 07:20, before the full version at 09:30.

Here's what the honorary president had to say about selling the majority share in Inter: "I think it's fair. There comes a time when you need to put the future in the hands of those who share your same enthusiasm and strength. Above all because times change."

Erick Thohir, the Indonesian tycoon who has bought a 70% share in the club "is very active, an attentive worker, a nice, decent person and a great communicator. And that's very important in football today."

Roma are attracting interest from Chinese investors: "It's interesting. Why be afraid if you're appreciated? I think it's only normal that foreigners come to Italy and appreciate our work, our teams and make investments. That goes for both industry and football."
