CAGLIARI - Salvatore Cerrone's Under-19s secured a 3-2 victory over Cagliari at the Centro Sportivo E. Cellino today in Week 7 of the Primavera championship.
Bonazzoli put Inter ahead in the 12th minute and an own goal by Oikonomou (34) gave the visitors a 2-0 lead going into the break. After the interval, Tassi's 53rd-minute penalty put the Nerazzurri firmly in the driving seat before the Sardinians threw caution to the wind as they attempted an unlikely comeback. Solinas (66) and Saias (76) managed to reduce the deficit but Cerrone's lads held on to record three big away points.
Next up is the Milan derby: Nerazzurri versus Rossoneri on Saturday 16 November in Week 8.
