MILAN - Marco Andreolli, who turned in a strong performance in the Nerazzurri’s friendly against Locarno at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti in Appiano Gentile, spoke about the game as he spent a few minutes with Inter Channel.
"Last year with Chievo I covered a bit of everything regarding defensive roles, so playing on the left as I did against Locarno isn’t a problem. The game was useful for rounding out all the good work we did this week during the international break. It was also useful for those who haven’t seen quite as much playing time in this early part of the season to log some important minutes.
"The loss to Roma? We’re hungry to pick things up again in the best way we can. Over these two weeks a lot of players have been away on international duty, but as soon as they’re back we’ll analyse the game with the Giallorossi. We’ve actually already done it partially and saw that we played a good game in certain regards. Unfortunately the final result penalised us, perhaps a bit too much when you think about certain incidents. However, what matters most is that we’re motivated to start working again and get back to our winning ways," concluded the defender.
