MILAN - Upon returning to Milan following this afternoon's successful trip to Udine, Primavera coach Salvatore Cerrone told inter.it what he thought of his team's performance:
"We played well today and Udine is not an easy place to go to - they'd already won both their previous home games. We got at them in the first half and had a a good chance straight away, then they had a few of their own. Neither side could break the deadlock though.
"We were better after the interval and allowed them very few chances. We were determined, got the goal and fashioned a number of other openings while staying compact. Eventually the goal came and with it the win, and I think it was deserved. Towards the end they tried hard to find an equaliser but we were a match for them and stood strong as a team. I saw lots of positives but we can do better still. Overall though I'd say we're on the right path."
