MUDINGAYI: "HAPPY TO BE PLAYING AGAIN"

Midfielder plays an hour for the Primavera against Atalanta. "I have to keep working hard during the week, the coach will call on me when he needs me"

MILAN - Gaby Mudingayi turned out for the Inter Primavera team in their 1-1 against Atalanta this afternoon, making his first competitive appearance since injuring his Achilles on 27 January. The Belgian midfielder gave a few statements to journalists after game.

"I got about an hour out there. The important thing for me now is to find my rhythm again after eight months out. I'm happy to be back on the pitch because you need that as a player. I have to keep working hard during the week and the coach will call on me when he needs me. I'm working away but it's up to him to decide when and where to use me. I have to make sure I'm ready for it when the call comes. The team are playing well and the gaffer's brilliant at explaining what he wants us to do. I think we'll keep it up."
