The Nerazzurri's afternoon workout saw them run through defensive drills and play an 11-a-side match against the Primavera lads as Walter Mazzarri continues to drill his men in preparation for their Week 3 encounter.
Numbers were boosted by the return of Samir Handanovic, Ishak Belfodil, Saphir Taider, Yuto Nagatomo, Patrick Olsen, Andrea Ranocchia and Mateo Kovacic from international duty (the Croatian youngster trained this morning).
The team's next training session is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, when a full contingent including the South American players is expected to report back to the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti for work.
