MONZA - (ANSA) Massimo Moratti "is trying to guarantee a future for Inter." This is what Marco Tronchetti Provera, Pirelli president and Inter board member had to say, without revealing too much about when the deal with Erick Thohir will be done. "What are the issues? It's difficult on a human level and in terms of the contract," explained Tronchetti Provera, from Monza ahead of the Italian Grand Prix. "Moratti wants to find the right balance. The president is and will be with the team: he's doing this to guarantee a future for Inter. The team and the fans can always rely on him."
The Pirelli chief was asked if Moratti is viewing the week building up to Inter-Juventus in a different way. "He's as passionate as ever. It will be a great show. It's the start of the season, teams are still putting the finishing touches to their squads, anything could happen."
