PRESIDENT MORATTI: "NORMAL TO BE HERE, MILITO'S ON THE UP"

"Second visit in three days? It's always nice to watch a game. Juve? We'll need to work well in the week, even though lots of players are away..."

APPIANO GENTILE –  As he left the training ground after watching this morning's friendly between Inter and Lugano, president Massimo Moratti stopped to answer a few questions from the waiting journalists.

President, did you have lunch with Paul Ince?
"[Smiling] Yes, I had lunch with Paul Ince... Apart from the language barrier it all went fine."

How do you think Diego Milito played?
"He played well. He's still working his way up to full fitness so he's obviously not going to be at his very best but fitness-wise he's on the up."

What about the other new players, like Rolando and Wallace?
"It must be said that today's game came at the end of a heavy week on the training ground and they were up against a team that was going all out to get a result, so they couldn't be expected to perform at their best. You could that see the ability is there though."

This is the second time in three days that you've come here to watch the team: is that normal or is there a special reason for it?
"It's normal because there was a game and it's nice to watch a game every week."

Are you confident going into the Juventus match?
"Let's see. We'll need to have a good week on the training ground, even though lots of players are away unfortunately."
