JONATHAN: "I DO WHAT THE COACH TELLS ME…"

"I was really happy to see Rodrigo score. The team did very well, but what matters most – like against Genoa – are the three points"

CATANIA – It was another strong performance from Jonathan, and one that included a fantastic assist on the Nerazzurri’s first goal. The Brazilian talked to Inter Channel about the win at Catania: "I’m really happy. In training the coach always tells me that when I’m 1-v-1 on the flank I have to try and beat my man to give us an edge in numbers and help the team to be more dangerous. When I saw Rodrigo score I was really happy. The team did very well, but what matters most – like against Genoa – are the three points."

The full-back continued: "What did I say to Wallace when he came on? To stay calm and try to play well because God was with him. At the end of the first half the coach was angry about some things, which helped us because the situation changed when we came back on. In the end he was very happy."
