MIAMI - "We're doing a great job, we're on the right track." Diego Milito spoke to Inter Channel about the team's progress.
The forward discussed his fitness but also his thoughts on this new Inter side: "Right from day one the coach asked even us guys who are coming back from injury to follow his tactical instructions and this is very useful for us. Things are going well and we hope this continues. Personally I'm coming along bit by bit. I really want to get back to 100%, after a number of months out I've got great desire and I'm already going beyond my programme. I'm working hard and I really benefited from my time in Pinzolo and here in the US. We're working very well and the team is on the up. We lacked a bit of flair in the early matches but that's natural in pre-season. We've definitely moved forward from a tactical perspective though. We've got a nice mix of forward players, youngsters and more experienced guys. But let's not place too heavy a burden on the young lads, we'll let them develop. Icardi and Belfodil are the future of Inter and I still want to play my part. We'll go far, as high up the table as possible, I'm confident, when you play for Inter you always need to aim for the top."
