MIAMI - The matchwinner against Juventus, Juan Pablo Carrizo spoke to Inter Channel after saving and scoring the last two penalties to see Inter edge the decisive shootout in their third and final Guinness International Champions Cup encounter.
"I'm happy with how it went and with the approach we showed. It was a clear improvement on the Valencia game. We all had to improve on that performance and we did. That's what these friendlies are for: to help you build up so that you reach 100% by the time the competitive games come around. Last year was tough but we'll make up for it this term. It was the first time I'd taken a penalty and it was a great feeling. We held our own against Juventus today and perhaps were even better: we can be proud of that."
