ABBADIA SAN SALVATORE (Siena) - "This time more than ever it was the whole group that won it," explained Roberto Samaden, head of Inter's youth academy, after the Nerazzurri Under-15s claimed the national title by beating Roma.
He continued: "This trophy is a source of satisfaction and pride for the entire youth academy, even more so as it comes at the end of a season fraught with difficulties and misfortune. Our strength is that we stuck together and that's what brought us the results."
Samaden also had words of praise for the coach who guided the youngsters to triumph, Benoit Cauet: "He settled in here superbly and has done a fantastic job, turning some great individual talents into a real team. He made a decisive contribution to this team. We're very proud of him."
