MILAN - Lega Serie A has published the dates for the 2013/14 campaign which begins on 25 August and ends on 18 May 2014. Three midweek rounds of matches are scheduled, all falling on Wednesdays: 25 September, 30 October and 26 March 2014. There will be no Serie A fixtures on the weekends of 8 September, 13 October and 17 November due to Italy's international commitments, or on 29 December due to the Christmas festivities.
The Coppa Italia final meanwhile is set for 3 May 2014 (reserve date - 7 May). The knockout stages will get underway on Sunday 4 August and the following rounds will be played on Sunday 11, Saturday 17 and Wednesday 4 December. The round of 16 will be played on 9 January 2014, before the quarter finals on Wednesday 22 January. The semi-finals, played over two legs, are set for Wednesday 5 and Wednesday 12 February.
