MILAN - Oscar Tabarez's Uruguay went out of the Confederations Cup last night, following a 2-1 semi-final defeat to hosts Brazil. Walter Gargano came on in place of Cristian Rodriguez seven minutes from time, while Alvaro Pereira finished the match as an unused substitute.
