MILAN - The Uruguayan national team, coached by Oscar Washington Tabarez, beat Tahiti 8-0 in the Group B match of the Confederations Cup to advance with 6 points, in second place behind Spain.
In the first semi-final, Uruguay will face Brazil on Wednesday 26 June in Belo Horizonte (kick-off at 21:00).
Both Alvaro Pereira and Walter Gargano played the entire 90 minutes of the game.
