MILAN – Uruguay have released their official 23-man squad of players that will
take part in the Confederations Cup in Brazil from 15 to 30 June.
Coach Oscar Tabarez has included Nerazzurri players Walter Gargano and Alvaro
Pereira in the group.
Uruguay are in Group B with Spain, Tahiti and Nigeria and will open their tournament on 16 June against the reigning world champions. Tomorrow they will play in a friendly against France in Montevideo before their World Cup qualifier away to Venezuela on 11 June.
