APPIANO GENTILE - Juan Jesus gave an exclusive interview to Inter Channel today, the day before Inter v Udinese. He began by reflecting on his first full season in an Inter shirt.
"I'm really happy to be here today because I'm playing regularly and I always try to do my bit for the team, but I was even happier on 13 May last year because it was my debut. We came up against some difficulties midway through the season but we're confident next year will turn out better. I don't like losing, I want to win, and I want to do everything possible to make sure we don't lose. We must focus on improving all the time."
What does it mean to a Brazilian that the World Cup will be held in Brazil? "It's fantastic for us to be able to host the tournament. I'm working hard with Inter and I hope to be involved with the Seleção."
Juan Jesus ended with a message aimed directly at the fans: "I want to thank them for the support they give us no matter what, they never give up."
