MILAN - Inter are set to embark on a US tour this summer and take part in the first Guinness International Champions Cup. The prestigious international tournament will see eight teams face off over 12 games in total, to be played between 27 July and 7 August 2013.
The eight teams will be organised in two groups of four. The 'western conference' will play their matches in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Phoenix, while the 'eastern conference' will be based in New York and Indianapolis, with the first game of this group being held in Europe.
In the second round, teams from opposite groups with meet in the finals on 6 and 7 August in Miami, at the Dolphins' Sun Life Stadium. The tournament is being organised by Relevent Sports, a company set up by Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross.
Real Madrid, Los Angeles Galaxy and Juventus have announced their participation in the tournament, with four more teams to be confirmed over the next fortnight.
