From 1922 to the present day, Inter v Roma is the most common final in the history of the Coppa Italia. The two teams have faced each other 5 times in the trophy match of the competition. In 2004/05 the title went to Inter, who won 2-0 in Rome in the first leg and then 1-0 at the San Siro in the return leg. In 2005/06 the Nerazzurri repeated their success with a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Olimpico in the first leg and a 3-1 win in Milan. 2006/07 brought revenge for the Giallorossi with a 6-2 victory in the first leg followed by a painless 1-2 loss at the Meazza in the return. Roma triumphed again in 2007/08 (2-1 in the single match in Rome), and in 2009/10 the title went to Inter (1-0 in the single match, again in Rome).
