WITH THE BOYS AND GIRLS OF INTER CAMPUS ANGOLA

Lots of kids get into the spirit in Luanda despite bad weather

LUANDA - The Inter Campus team were back in the Mota district of Luanda in Angola, which has been transformed into a mud bath five foot deep. Here the locals brave the conditions with boots (those that own a pair), risking injury and illness.

The bad weather has not frightened the boys and girls of the Bom Pastor parish of Sao Paulo who took part in three days' training and football matches under the guidance of our coaches Alberto and Lorenzo. 44 youngsters from Luanda, Dondo and even Benguela came to Mota to attend the Inter Campus course, learning theory in the classroom before playing on the pitch with the kids from the centre.

At the end of the visit, Inter Campus assessed the work they've done alongside the legendary Father Stefano Tollu, the Salesian pillar of this community, which maintains great spirit despite dozens of problems. Then it was time to party with 'bolachas' (biscuits) handed out to all the kids, who await our return this summer in their new Inter kits!
