STRAMACCIONI: "I'LL DO INTER PROUD AT COVERCIANO"

"Coaching a club in Europe has meant I've missed a few too many sessions. I'll catch up this summer with coach Ulivieri"

APPIANO GENTILE - After his press conference earlier, Andrea Stramaccioni stopped for his usual chat with Inter Channel. During the interview he discussed the news which has come out claiming he is unable to sit the exam in June for his coaching licence, on account of missing too many classes: "Being lucky enough to coach a side in Europe, I've definitely missed a few too many sessions, but I've already agreed with coach Ulivieri that I'll catch up on these over the summer. I will be there for the exam though, and I'll make Inter proud.

"This course is fundamental and I really want to do my best, Coverciano is our school, coach Ulivieri is our teacher and he can convey really important things to us young coaches. That's why I'm keen to make up all the classes I've missed - obviously they know why - as this course doesn't factor in the European calendar, given that it is for coaches who theoretically haven't yet reached the top flight. I'm an exception to this, so obviously there have been a few Tuesdays and Wednesdays where I've been on a plane somewhere," smiled Stramaccioni.
