CATANIA - Cristian Chivu spoke to Mediaset following Catania 2-3 Inter: "I think a team needs character and the ability to play good football, as well as ambition and humility. These are key traits for any squad, the knowledge that you can help each other out in the tough times. We didn't do that in the first half because we gifted them two goals. Then, in the second half, we attacked them and began to improve, we caused them problems and in the end we did it.
"I believe the whole squad deserves the credit as we showed character and will to win. The truth is this team showed humility, just like we did when we had world-class players a few years ago, players that would slot in at full-back when things got difficult. Could this be the turning point of the season? I think this is what we wanted to convey and that's what the coach put across during the 15-minute half-time interval. We could do it, by attacking them and playing better than we'd started, and in the end our effort and desire paid off."
