CATANIA - Esteban Cambiasso spoke to Sky Sport Italia after the win over Catania. He was asked about the Nerazzurri's next league match, against Bologna: "But we play Tottenham before Bologna, so one step at a time. Diamanti a team-mate? My experience tells me to only think about my team."
He then proceeded to analyse the game: "There are always two teams in every game you play and so the good and bad is split accordingly. They made the most of their first chance and this allowed them to grow in confidence in the first half. We knew a goal would have changed everything although perhaps we didn't expect the comeback we produced. We were able to react and that's important. Can this be a key moment in our season? It was crucial because Catania would have gone above us. Now though it's positive, and it gives us confidence for the next few matches. In football, people tend to talk too much about fitness, but often the psychological aspect counts for more. Now we hope to find consistency because, aside from Juventus, no other side has this strength."
Cambiasso was then asked about what went on between Cassano and Stramaccioni: "It's quite normal that people know a lot of what goes on. Luckily for us, and sadly for you, a lot less of what actually goes on ever makes it out. How annoying is it that it's come now? I'd say the squad is tight because you can only win a match like this if you are all together. I've learned that in Italy often a side that's on edge is a winning side. How will we welcome Cassano back into the group? Too much has already come out, I'm not going to be the one to reveal anything else. The coach has said it too: we'll pretend he was suspended for a match like Ranocchia was today. And they'll be available for the next few games."
Finally a question on Tottenham: "We know them, we hope to stop them all, Bale and his team-mates."
