MILAN – The anticipation is building ahead of tonight's 2012/13 Serie A Week 26 showdown at the Stadio Meazza. As we wait for the derby to kick off at 20:45, inter.it - with the help of Football Data - has put together a selection of facts and figures for you to pore over.

Inter haven't lost at home since 23 September, when Siena won 0-2 in Serie A. Since then the Nerazzurri have put together a 15-game unbeaten run on home soil consisting of eleven wins and four draws, scoring in every game (30 goals in total). However, Andrea Stramaccioni's side still have some way to go until they equal Inter's record unbeaten home streak of 53 matches, which came between 2008 and 2010.

The last Milan derby to end all square in a competitive fixture was on 24 October 2004, when a goalless draw was played out with AC Milan as the home side. In the 19 competitive meetings since then, there have been 10 Nerazzurri triumphs and nine Rossoneri victories.

Since 1910, this is only the second time that the Derby della Madonnina has been played on 24 February. The other occasion was in 1963, a 1-1 draw which saw Mazzola's 1st-minute opener cancelled out by Sani in the 77th minute.

AC Milan have lost just one Serie A game in their last 13 outings. That was on 22 December, when they were defeated 4-2 away to Roma. In the other 12 matches in this period, the Rossoneri have racked up nine wins and three draws. Since losing to Roma, Milan are unbeaten in seven championship games, their longest unbeaten streak in the current campaign, with five victories and two draws. The Rossoneri have not lost in 2013 and would be top of the table on 17 points had the season begun at the start of the calendar year.

AC Milan have scored more times in the final 15 minutes of games (76th to 90th plus stoppage time) than any other team in the 2012/13 Serie A: 19 of their 44 total goals, or 43.2%.

Andrea Stramaccioni has won both previous head-to-heads against Massimiliano Allegri, both of which were derby matches: Inter 4-2 AC Milan at the end of the 2011/12 season and AC Milan 0-1 Inter in 2012/13.

Andrea Stramaccioni has met AC Milan twice in competitive competitions during his career and won both times: that 4-2 victory on 6 May 2012, which mathematically handed the Scudetto to Juventus after the Bianconeri beat Cagliari 0-2 in Trieste the same evening, and the Nerazzurri's 0-1 success on 7 October 2012.

Massimiliano Allegri is facing Inter for the 11th time in his coaching career. His record stands at W4, D1, L5.
